Trial an Acting Class before Committing to a Term
Does your child have a vibrant personality and constantly entertaining family and friends? Or is your child perhaps introverted and want to come out of their shells?
In this Free Trial Acting class, school-aged students across all age groups will get a sneak peak into one of our PAC acting classes! They will engage in fun role-playing, voice and body exercises, and and fun group improvisation games where they will meet friends, improve their confidence but most importantly, have fun!
Students will also receive a Certificate of Participation.
Hosted by Charnel Rizk, this workshop is a great way to get a taste of an acting class and perhaps discover a new talent or passion that they can nurture!

Welcome and Icebreaker Extravaganza (15 minutes)

Creative Movement and Expression (30 minutes)
- Engaging activities to explore the magic of body language in storytelling.
- Imaginative exercises to unleash your child’s expressive potential.
Character Exploration and Storytime (20 minutes)
- Introduction to basic character development through storytelling.
- Interactive storytelling session where your child can participate and bring characters to life.
Theatrical Games for Team Building (15 minutes)
- Enjoyable group games that foster teamwork, communication, and creativity.
- Games tailored to enhance your child’s confidence and social skills.
Mini Scene Rehearsals (25 minutes)
- Small group activities where your child will participate in mini scene rehearsals.
- Guided by our experienced instructors, they’ll get a taste of the excitement of performing in front of an audience.
Closing Showcase and Parent Peek (15 minutes)
- A mini showcase where your child will proudly present what they’ve learned.
- An opportunity for parents to peek into the magical world of the class and witness their child’s budding acting talents.
Closing Remarks and Q&A (10 minutes)
- A brief summary of the class and the skills explored.
- An open forum for parents to ask questions and gather more insights into our program.

Our Teens Trial Acting class is designed to ignite creativity, boost self-expression, and provide a glimpse into the captivating world of acting. Here’s an overview of the exciting activities your teen will experience:
Welcome and Icebreaker Fiesta (15 minutes)
- A warm introduction to establish a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Fun icebreaker activities to encourage interaction and create an immediate sense of camaraderie.
Physical Expression and Scene Dynamics (30 minutes)
- Engaging exercises to explore the power of physicality and movement in acting.
- Scene dynamics exploration with a focus on emotional expression and authenticity.
Character Building and Scene Exploration (20 minutes)
- Introduction to the art of character development and storytelling.
- Interactive scene exploration where teens can delve into the nuances of bringing characters to life.
Improvisation and Theatrical Games (15 minutes)
- Exciting improv games to enhance spontaneity, quick thinking, and creativity.
- Theatrical games designed to build teamwork and boost confidence.
Mini Scene Rehearsals (25 minutes)
- Small group activities where teens will participate in mini scene rehearsals.
- Guided by our experienced instructors, they’ll experience the thrill of bringing a scene to life on stage.
Closing Showcase and Parent Peek (15 minutes)
- A mini showcase where teens will proudly present snippets of their work.
- An opportunity for parents to witness the talent emerging from the class and get a glimpse into the theatrical journey.

IMPORTANT INFO:
- Please read our Centre Policies.
- Students are only allowed to attend ONE trial class.
- Students are to wear comfortable loose clothing and appropriate footwear.
- Please ensure your child comes with a bottle of water.
- Parents are invited to stay for a portion of the workshop but then are kindly asked to leave the space so that their children can participate uninhibited.
