About PAC

We are Parramatta Actors Centre, an acting school in the heart of Western Sydney. We teach acting skills to people of all ages that not only prepare actors for the stage and screen, but for the world.

Kids and Teens ClassesAdult Classes

Acting Classes in the heart of Western Sydney.

We create and curate acting classes for Kids and Teens in Grades K-12 who are wanting to get out of their shells or simply continue to express themselves. All of our classes are delivered by highly trained and qualified teachers who have a passion for craft and community. PAC is also proud to offer acting classes to Adults aged 17+.

History

After seeing a real need for a cultural revolution in the booming Western Sydney hub of Parramatta, and driven by their joint passion for community building, siblings and longtime Parramatta residents Nisrine, Laura and George Amine established Parramatta Actors Centre (PAC) in late 2017.

PAC was founded on the principals of quality acting training and spirited community building. Underpinning all of PACs adult and youth courses is the unwavering belief that through performing arts education, a human being will grow to not only become a compelling and engaging actor but also a conscious and thoughtful global citizen.

Mission

To develop confidence and build community through the craft of acting.

Ms Nisrine Amine

I often go for walks around Parramatta in the early hours of the morning. The city is usually still asleep then. I notice the high-rise buildings of present and future, the cranes and the construction. I see the empty pavements where city workers will soon hustle and bustle, and the cafes that will greet them with their flat whites and long blacks and everything grey in between. And I can’t help but think to myself that no matter how high a building gets, or how many cafes serve smashed avo, a city is vacuous without its people and with the culture and creativity they bring.

I started Parramatta Actors Centre with my siblings not only as an exercise in family bonding but as a way to showcase our pride in our city. Everyday, we see the growth that Parramatta is undergoing and we can’t help but feel a sense of eagerness in contributing to this growth. And this is what we’ve done.

PAC is not only Parramatta’s leading acting school but it is also a dynamic and ever-evolving hub for local creatives of all ages. But above all, it is a community; a community of bold, empowered, sensitive creatives whose art and humanity are one.

At PAC, we foster in our actors (of all ages and diverse backgrounds) the values of empathy, self-awareness and creative expression. And we couldn’t be more excited to have you join us.
